Joplin Relief Efforts and Weekly Grocery Store Deals 5/25 - 5/31/11

After seeing the devastation in Joplin over the weekend, my husband and I decided to donate some of our stockpile. We have been judged and have gotten stared down at stores while supplying our stockpile but now, I hope that all of those people who thought of us negatively know why we do what we do. At this point in time, we cannot donate money but, we can ABSOLUTELY donate some of our extra tolitries and food to their relief efforts. Here is what we are donating:

If any of you have a stockpile or even just some extra tolitries and/or non perishable food you can donate, any amount will help! We saw this story on the news last night and decided this would be the quickest and easiest way to help.

Frugal Fritzie's Dillons Deals  - Frugal Fritzie lives IN Joplin.  Fortunately, her home was not affected by the devastation on Sunday.  In this post, she has noted items that the City of Joplin is needing for donation.
